1. This website is not meant or equipped to provide immediate help or crisis support to persons who may be experiencing acute distress. If, at any point, you need urgent help/crisis support for acute distress, we strongly recommend and appeal to you to connect to local emergency health services or helpline numbers. The 24/7 Tele-help number of National Tele-MANAS initiative is made available at the header and footer of the website for easy access. Please remember that help is around, although it may be available in different forms or in different settings.

2. This website is most suitable for Indian students and college going youth and is meant to provide information on mental health and common mental concerns, as well as offer access to self-help resources in the form of infographics, articles, worksheets and video clips to maintain or improve mental wellbeing. This website is NOT meant to offer a diagnosis or provide any kind of professional support or advice for mental health problems.

3. This is not a platform to seek synchronous or asynchronous chat-based support. It is merely an informational website.

4. The content has been developed by the sites participating in this ICMR project and attempt has been made to provide scientifically accurate information in ways that are usable by a lay person. While all efforts are made to ensure that the information is accurate, updated and simple to understand, the site administrators welcome any feedback and suggestions to rectify any inadvertent errors or add new content. Users can send their suggestions via the link provided in the footer of the website. The same will be considered and incorporated if such suggestions are in alignment with the goals of the project .
